Update

I will update my blog when I get my new cord for my laptop. The last one frayed. That is the big draw back to laptops.

Christmas Eve

The kids were in a Christmas program at the church we have been visiting. They were both sheep.

We did our nativity activity, "What God wants for Christmas."

We made gingerbread men for Santa.

Is this Rodolph or baby boy?

The kids were playing and baby boy fell. This is the outcome.

Night with some girlfriends

Tonight a few friends and I were invited to a movie night at a friends home. She has a lovely home and we had a great time. We watched the movie The Assassination of Jessie James

Cathy's home was beautiful. Her husband can apparently build anything. He built and designed their home theater.

If you notice in the pictures I think my camera was starting to wear thin on my friends.

We all wore our pj's. Her hubby made us popcorn with cheese on it "Grandma's recipe". Jen brought pink Champaign and as much movie candy as we could dream of.

I had a really great time.

My Kids

Baby boy said to me today, "Mommy I can't marry you because you are married. If you divorce daddy then I CAN MARRY YOU!" To that I laughed a hearty laugh and then said, "Well that is not an option, but it is a sweet offer."

My Ninjas have already heard this.

I went up to the school today to bring my daughters teacher her gift. While I cleaned out her desk. It was full of papers. I just went through them and this is what I found in my little first graders desk.

Christmas Program at baby boy's school

Baby boy preformed for us today. Here is him singing. Ignore on the 3rd video that you can hear myself singing. You may pick another mom singing at the end. They asked us to sing along to that song and the kids were very happy for us to do so.

Busy Busy Busy

It was a busy week for our family. We started going and never stopped.

Thursday I was in charge of putting on a luncheon for the teachers at my baby girl's school. It went over really well but I was really exhausted when we were done.

I really love the teachers at the school. They seem to really care about their students and seem appreciative of the parents. Who can ask for more?

Friday I worked up at the school with baby boy. He sat up there with me for three hours without complaint. He was very well behaved. We were in charge of Spirit store. It was great getting to interact with all the students as well.

Today I took this picture of the kids. They were really loving each other. This took place in front of the tree so I pulled out the camera. Then of course they started posing.

I feel really blessed that I have children that get along so well. I know it won't last forever but I will appricate it while we have it.

They have some fights but mostly they play and love on each other.



I have read all the twilight books now. They were really good. They had their flaws but over all I fell in love with the story. I also got to read the PDF of the last book from Edwards perspective. She never published it because it got leaked on the Internet and she just felt like she couldn't write about it anymore. Stephanie did share it with everyone and that is why I went ahead a read it.

I would love to be in the next movie. There is a dream for a lady huh? Even being an extra would be fun. I know this isn't likely because they film in Oregon. It would be fun though!

Transformer

Babyboy started chattering about God in the car yesterday. We were driving to collect his sister from school.

He had been examining the Nativity outside of his school. He thought it was funny that they had baby Jesus/God and God.

I replied that the Baby Jesus was represented in the Nativity. The other people in were Mary, Joseph, and the Wise Men.

He informed me that I was wrong. He saw the man with the beard and that was God.

I told him that he was right there was a man with a beard. He was not God.

He the in turn told me that I was wrong. He knew what God looked like and God has a beard.

I retorted, "Well Petes has a beard and he isn't God."

He laughed, "Of course not his beard is different."

I then came back with, "People always think they know what God looks like. Even Jesus we can guess but we don't know. The Bible says that sometimes God looks like a lion and Sometimes a Lamb."

He questioned, "So God is a transformer?"

I paused, then answered, "yes".

He yelled, "COOL!"

Then we got to have a really cool conversation about the subject.
