burps

Yesterday, Jr was sitting on the couch. We heard a huge noise and we thought he was about to throw up. Hubby and I snaped our heads to look at him. We could picture him getting sick all over the carpet and couch. Then he smiled really big and said, "I BEEPDED"

I think this will the first of many funny burp jokes.

Soap box is out

What the heck? Why are high waisted pants back? What are the stylest thinking?
They make everyones butt look H U G E. Even if you are the thinnest person on the planet, your butt will look a million miles long. They also look like grandma pants.

grrrrrrrrrr

this week

This week seemed to fly by. We had birthday parties, family to visit, new houses to see, and sickness. Hubby went on a boys trip to get some free time. The kids have been great!

We had plans to go out with a friend tonight, but do to sickness we were not able to go. I cleaned the house yesterday and its a mess already today.

I got lots of hugs and kisses. One day Jr-ett "accidently" took an extra toy from treasure box at school. We had to return it, with appologies. She did yell at me once when she was in trouble, but immediately appologied :) (you don't know how hard I have worked for that)

When we visited my God mother they got to paint crosses. She made dinner and they both begged for thirds of aspargus. It was nice to see. :)

They went though thier toy boxes today and redesovered toys they had forgotten about. It was like Christmas again.

Hubby and I went to a movie on Thursday while kids were at school. It was the one with Anthony Hopkins.

I have plunged my shower to drain properly every day!

My sisters new house is beautiful. I am really happy for her and the family.

We went to a birthday party at the park. The kids seemed to have a wonderful time. It was a beautiful day. Its rare that I enjoy being out, but I love it.

My dog went to the vet. Her enzymes are back to where they should be. We start heartworm treatment monday.

We went to dance and Jr-ett did a great job. She asked to practice, and did for a while. Called me the dance teacher.

Jr bonded with daddy while I was at dance. He busted his nose on Sunday, at McDonalds. He bleed all over the place. He was very lucky not to break something. He hit it hard.

We have read about 100 books, and dug in the yard, and covered the carpet in mud. (other stuff to that you don't want to know about)

Made about 10 art projects. We have used foam and sticks and caps to water bottles stickers and stamps salt glue glitter and paper colors and wrappers.

We have played I spy, hide and seek, hi ho cherry-o, computer games, and house.

I have thrown away trash, and the kids have taken it back out.

We have prayed.

Life is good :)

my two angels

Two funny stories that are not funny ;)

Jr comes out a little while ago holding something over his head. "what is this mommy?" he asks. I look up and he is holding a tampon.

Meanwhile earlier we went to dinner and jr- ett says "mommy I am afraid to tell you something." I said what? she said, "well it will hurt your feelings. You see your not as pretty as me, and you don't have as pretty curls"

My kids my pearls.

Happy Anniversary

Happy anniversary to the love of my life.

hubby,

The Lord knew what he was doing to put us together. I have been happy since the day that I met you. You complement my life in ways that no one else could. You are a bless and a joy to love. Your a great father and husband.

I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I do believe we are soul mates. Not in the way the world refers to there spouses. We are kindred spirits. Our souls meet with each other for the love of the Lord, for our children, for on another.

The last seven years since the day we pledged our love for eternity have been such a joy. I was always told that marriage would be rocky. It feels like we have not had rocky times. Our love is pure and real. I want to shout to the world my feelings for you.

We have met strangers that have told me as they knew me better, that our love radiates though us. They can see it in our eyes. This pleases me and I know it would please the Lord. It is awesome to know that our children get to see what a great romance looks like. They know what it feels like to have a wonderful father who loves and respects their mother. They get to see their mother look up to their father as a true leader though Christ. Thank you for this, it is the most important in my life and theirs.

I love you,
Rebecca

working out

When I went to the gym yesterday I noticed a big change. When I did weights there was only one man in the room. There were 6 females and 1 male. Then I went to do cardo I noticed there were 5 males and 1 female. It really made me laugh. Women are really starting to step up and take care of their health. YAY GIRL POWER

To Mephis and beyond

I am so glad we are home. The drive home seemed to take forever. We had a great visit. The kids decorated Easter Eggs and got to hunt them. They made flowers out of wooden sticks and painted them. They got to help cook, set the table, and fight a lot. The Easter Bunny visited Mephis.

We met with Jeff and watch a FBI movie that was great. Rebekah and Jeff talked about the perils of being single at 30 and beyond.

Micheals grandmother and granddaddy came down for a visit. Grandma gave the kids each 10 dollars to spend on what they like.

We went to Church and Jr-ett went up for childrens time and shouted "Jesus is Lord" in a cheer. Jr got a donut hole.

It was a good weekend.

Rebecca

I hope you all had an Easter to fill the soul.

not a crafty person

I am not crafty anyone that knows me knows that about me. Today I stopped by Hobby Lobby. I was going to buy some yarn to start a couple of blankets to keep my hands busy. I bought yarn for two blankets. Then I decided to look at t-shirt paint. Next thing you know I was buying tote bags for my kids to decorate. I was thinking they would make great mothers day presents for my mom and Carol. Then I decided hubby's mother wouldn't like a tote because she has so many already (she is a school teacher). I remembered they talked about decoupage on "The View". So I decided to make that for Micheal's mom for mothers day. Next thing you know I spent a ton of money and have five crafts to do. I was laughing because for a non crafty person I sure am doing lots of crafts.

Gripes and happiness

Always start with the best so I will say I GOT MY RING TODAY! I am so happy I want to show everyone. The only one to show right now is Courtney who does like it. LOL I get it appraised tomorrow. I love love love it.

Now for my gripes. You know every time I pass the intersections where 75 and 635 meet it ticks me off. Hubby always jokes that its the funniest thing to him because I can't pass that area without getting irritated. Why they heck did the state spend the money to paint and emboss the bridges? The paint will chip off in a while. Sure it looks a bit nice, but come on. They should save our tax dollars and help one of the programs already out there or start a new one to help people. Give it to the schools that need more text books or instruments for art programs. I don't know why it ticks me off so much. I just know that end the end its going to cost the state a lot of money to keep the paint jobs up on the bridges.

Thanks for listening to my rant.

monsoon season

Its been raining like crazy. The "April showers bring May flowers" saying keeps coming to my mind. We have wild mushrooms and carrots popping up all over my yard. I have pull a ton of weeds but they keep popping up.

Jr said to me today "mommy who made you, I answered my mommy (without thinking) and he said no mom God made you and me and daddy and sis sis" and then JR-ett said "God made everyone in the whole wide world"

Blowing noses at the table

My mom and I were talking on the phone today. We started talking about manners that bug me. The one that bugs me the most is people blowing their nose at the table. Whats yours?
