Bobo

Todays post is half quote half story.

We were just eating dinner and my son was being silly. I said to him "I am going to get your bobo" and he giggled and sat down. Then I said both my babies have yummy bobo's and my daughter piped up and said "Mommy you can't eat bobo's they are made with blood and full of poop" at which hubby and I looked at each other and busted out laughing.

Drama Team

We have officialy started meeting for drama team. Its been so much fun. Yesterday was our second meeting of the new year. We had a small group but it was productive. We are talking of doing man on the street videos as well as doing a skit for the talent show. I am really glad that this team is working out. I was a bit worried around Christmas.

Heart Ache

Today I have been watching the an Oprah that I had recorded from Thursday. It was about the boy that was kidnapped and the boy found. My heart is broken. I feel such a since of joy and sadness about this story.

I am so happy that these families got thier boys back but I feel there loss. Thier boys have loss thier innocents. They have been though such terrior.

It makes me mad that the media is saying stuff about the Sean Hornback not calling. The boy was terrified. He had lost everything. He was being held captive and being brain washed. Of course he did not call his parents. He left clues.

I feel like in some ways I can relate to him with all the stuff that happend when I was a child. I wasn't kidnapped by a stranger. I was kidnapped and told how to hide if the police knocked on the door. I lived in fear of being dicovered. I remember when the police finding me, I was more afraid of the police than the people that had me. I felt I would be in trouble for getting caught.

I know those boys were sexually abused. I can relate to that. I know how they feel and I know they need to figure out who they are again.

If you don't live in these parts you don't know the truth about our winters. If the weather is supposed to be less than 40 degrees Fahrenheit panic ensues. The stores run out of bread and milk. I think people think that there are blizzards coming.

Today was Sunday. We had worship of 80 people. 80!!!! We normally have 300-400. It was just cold and rainy not a drop of snow or ice. Then they canceled the evening service. Right now at 8:15 pm still no sign of snow or ice.

I see babes being born around the city nine months from today and tomorrow. I know, I know, I am not a psychic but I do have premonitions.

Snow

Yesterday I went to book club. We drove though what felt like a monsoon! The water was flowing though the street. Laura was wiping the windows and Sharon was wiping while she they were driving. This is a part of normal life for some people in this country but for us it is nuts. It was 70 degrees yesterday afternoon and today I had icecycles on my pine tree behind my house.

Do any of you ever feel like the weather is like a wheel of fourtune?

I am unusuall in that I love the winter. I love the way people are more touchy in the winter. I love soup, fires, and sweaters. I get energy from the cold.

To change the subject, I am going to start trying to find a quote...either from the kids or life for every post.

I am back

I have decided to start posting again. It will only be fun stuff that I don't mind strangers seeing. The people that were viewing this blog several times a day never did tell who they are. The funny thing is that I don't care if they are looking its that they wouldn't admit it.
