Magic Toothbrushes

I have found "magic" toothbrushes. I purchased these singing toothbrushes. To hear the music you have to brush and it gets louder the more vigorous you brush. It plays for two minutes. The exact amount of time we are supposed to brush. My kids are now brushing 4 times a day!

Spring Break

I have had a crazy spring break but I have gotten to see my nieces more. Today I spent the day with my sister and her kids. We went to Chuck E Cheese and then to see a movie. We just got back from going to dinner. She brought her new puppy. Here are some pics.

This week and a funny story.

We are on spring break. My mother is in the hospital so I have one of my nieces. She is on her second night with us and will probably stay with us through the week. Mom is coming home tomorrow. She will need a heat catheter in a couple weeks. Please pray for her.

My good friend Lydia had her baby this past week. Her baby ended up being babies. She had two boys. Her blog is linked on the left side of my page listed under Links. She is conradzone. Please keep her babies in your prayers. They have been in the NICU. One will be going home soon the other will be there a while longer. Please also pray for mom and dad. They are tired and trying to take care of all three children. Lydia is a great mom and we all love her.

My friend Laura's mom is going to the doctor. She might have gotten a blood clot in her leg on the plane ride to visit. Please pray for her.

Now for the funny story.

My daughter has a best friend who is a boy. He told her that he she was his girlfriend. She has been wondering what he meant. He came over to spend the night tonight. (they are 6) She said,"I need to talk to you ___________." She said, "I need to know what you mean by me being your girlfriend." He said, "It's not what you think." She said, "Did you mean that I am girl and your best friend." He said, "IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK!!" She said, "Well I think it is that I am your best friend and a girl. You know ________ I NEED TO BE FREE." He said, " I don't want to talk about it!" She said, "I NEED TO BE FREE! I NEED TO BE FREE!"

Update*** Laura's mom just had a burst blood vessel. No blood clot!

Magically Delicious

Baby girl has gone up 4 book levels in less than a month. I told her that if she got to reading level she is on now, I would buy her Lucky Charms. She came home from school dancing and proud. We went straight to the store to buy the sugar filled cereal.
Tomorrow is open house at the school. She is very excited to get to show us all her work. (whispers) Don't tell her that I have been up at the school, volunteering for hours to help get ready for open house.

Baby boy has started working on a pre-k workbook. He loves the books. He will work in it for an hour at a time. I have to cut him off and he will beg to work in it again 20 minutes later. His mind really works in a worksheet way.

He is most excited about the Easter Egg hunt at school tomorrow. He has been watching the clock all day.

Baby Girl has a boyfriend

Baby girl was telling me how a little girl came up to her and told her that her boyfriend is cheating on her. I said, "Do you have a boyfriend?" She nodded. I said, "Who is the boyfriend?" She told me. I asked, "How do you know he is your boyfriend?" She said, "Because he said that ______ and I were his girlfriends. That makes it so." HEHEHEH

We had snow this week. It came Monday night. Tuesday morning we woke up to about an inch of snow that quickly melted. I got a pic of baby boy playing and baby girl played with daddy on the way to school. We didn't get a picture of her. :( We are expected to get a whole new round of snow tomorrow.

Our week

I haven't posted in a week because we lost hubby's dear grandmother. We traveled to her funeral. We are going to miss her greatly.

Baby girl seems to have a good grasp of the process. She was very sad in the beginning. She is still sad but now it is more about not seeing grandma anymore and less about being fearful of death. I have been very proud of her maturity.

Baby boy understands that he won't see her anymore, but doesn't get the big picture. He asked us when grandma would be unburied. He is a little young to get the big picture.

Please keep Granddad in your prayers. We are concerned for him for many reasons. They were married 66 years.
