UpDate

Baby Girl was very excited to get to go back to school today. She wore the new outfit that Bana sewed for her.

She told me that she lots of teachers liked her outfit and gushed about it. Then she said, " I am so glad Bana made this for me!"

The refrigerator man came and said that it was just defrost. He said that there was nothing wrong with it and that it should do what I said it did twice a day. I am feeling very unsafe with using it now. Tell me how it made burnt plastic smell? Even baby girl came in the kitchen when it happened and said "mommy do we need to call the fire department, I smell something burning" So I know the smell wasn't in my head.

Baby girl is still sick

She was fine last night, but she woke up today throwing up again.

I am sad to have her sick. I am also worried about her missing school this week. She is going to miss all the diagnostic testing.

What a day!

Baby girl woke me up this morning throwing up. This is my first experience cleaning up chunky messes. It took me about 30 min to get that cleaned up and giver her a bucket next to her bed and get her back down.

I left the alarm on just in case it was a fluke. The alarm went off at 6:30 and I walked into her room. She was already awake. I asked her if she was ok...and she said no. She proceeded to throw up again. The bucket was fairly well used.

At this point she stopped throwing up and hubby had gotten up to go to work. I went back to sleep. When he left and I woke up I found two buckets with stuff in them. And carpet stains in her room and in the living room.

Now after about 8 am she didn't get sick again. Her fever went down. She seems normal, but did miss the second day of school.

NOW WE ALMOST JUST HAD A FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baby boy wanted a snack (as usual) So I walked into the kitchen and smelled something. I opened the freezer and it was a bit steamy in there. I looked around and sure enough the coils in the back bottom were bright red and looked like the were about to catch fire. They were steaming and popping. I used all my strength and pulled the refrigerator from the all. And yanked the electric cord from outlet.

Now we are hoping that we can save our refrigerator and food!

I just got a flyer in the mail and it looks like a new refrigerator on the low end will cost about 800 dollars. With my surgery, the leak in the roof, and a car accident in the last month...I don't want to take on this expense too.

GRRRRRRRRR

First day of big girl school

Baby Girl started school today. I thought I would be teary eyed when I dropped her off, but it ended up that most of us were just fine. The whole family went to drop her off. We got in the room put her bags in the locker, and she sat at her desk to color. I stood there thinking, I want to stay, but what can I do but stand and stare at her. She was fine and said bye mom. So we all left and I thought that was it? That was what I have been working myself up for? LOL

When we got home baby boy ended up very clingy and needy. He would not leave my side. He wanted to hold my hand or be in my lap. He really missed his sis-sis. He asked me if we could go to the "Ice cream store" for a special treat, so I took him.

I will say that I really enjoyed our outing. I realized with the closeness of age of the two kiddos, I have had very little time to enjoy each one individually. Baby girl got me until she was two, but he has never had me to himself. I was watching him eat his ice cream cone. He was adorable in the way he ate it. I had never had the time to notice how he ate his ice cream before.

When we picked baby girl up from school she told me that her day was good. The best thing was the cafeteria and the worse was PE. She said PE was boring and they did lots of boring stuff in the gym.

It was like pulling teeth for her to tell me about her day, but once she did, it sounded like she really liked school. She made a new friend right away, and she thinks her teacher is pretty and nice.

I am really proud of my little girl and I am already room mom!

August pictures and fun

Baby Boy is proud that he can write his name...he likes to practice. Every time he gets a letter right, he cheers :)

We had a big puppet show and sing along at church. We got to make our own puppets. Mommy and her drama team put it together. IT WAS SOOOO FUN!

Baby Girl had a play date with her BFF and they got their nails done!

Baby girl got her ears pierced because she is a big girl and starting kindergarten. We made it a girls day by going to brunch, buying a first day of school outfit, and getting ears done.

We spent a week celebrating mommies birthday!

In early August we went to the science museum with Nanny and Mommy. We got to dig for dinosaur bones, be on TV, make giant bubbles, go through a maze, have ice cream, see our solar system, shop, and much much more.

Love Notes

This morning baby girl decided she wanted write me a note, so wrote a note...Mommy me hug. It wasn't in order but it was so cute. I gave her a great big hug and kiss.

Then baby boy says, " I want to write a note" He gets the marker and paper and writes the first letter of his name 5 times. Baby girl whispers "Mommy when you open it, pretend it says I need hugs and kisses" He came over to me and I opened it and gave him big hugs and kisses.

They both swelled up with pride. It was a yummy moment!

Do you ever feel like this?

This morning I was ready to strangle my kids. Baby girl decided it was ok to hit her brother when I wasn't looking. When I asked her what she was thinking, she said "I hit him and then said sorry...so you can't be mad"

Then Baby boy took (luckily washable) marker and wrote on my leather furniture. I walked in as he was deliberately doing this.

I was so angry at both of them. It was all I could do not to go off the deep end. It wasn't just these two things, it was stuff like this all morning.

I took a min to calm down. I called a friend and asked them if it was ok to whack my kids and she said no. I told her thanks for calming me down and she said that's what friends are for. Its really nice to have friends for sanity checks. She has days like this as well an we lean on each other.

Now the kids have calmed down. Baby girl is working on a 50 piece puzzle. She is surprisingly good at it. I would have thought it would be too hard for her but she is doing it all on her own. Baby boy is being very sweet. I feel much calmer. We are all being love bugs.

I am off to my pre opt appointment and the same friend referenced above is taking the kids, so break time for me :)

If you have a weak constitution DON'T READ THIS POST

Just now baby boy was still eating his dinner. The rest of us had gotten up and were doing our own thing, as we finished eating an hour ago. We heard him talking as he is taking a bite of spegetti.

My peinis wants to say something...it wants to blast off

This now confirms my belief that boys from the moment of conception are facinated with that part of the body.

Explotation

Today I came across a child online that I think was the target of a Pedophile. I do not know the child, they just posted on a message board I read. I noticed that no one had posted on a thread, so I clicked on it. Her writing was very juvenile and she sounded in love with a man she had never met. I asked her how old she was, and she replied "I am 14 and he is 20" I told her to break all contact right then.

I got her email and started emailing aback and forth with her. She finally decided to give me the transcripts to their conversation. It made me sick. He was working her. He was telling her everything she wanted to hear. As the conversation went on he got more sexual.

I contacted the police department. The problem is that most departments don't know what to do with situations like this. They talked of jurisdiction and asked me to pump her for more information.

I tell you all this, so that if you ever come across this issue you will know what to do. http://www.missingkids.com/missingkids/servlet/PublicHomeServlet?LanguageCountry=en_US& is a website dedicated to protecting kids. I will let you know what happens with this case.

we were on our way to the theater to watch a popcorn throwing play. The kids were spending the night with Ronnie, and we got in a car accident. I was not looking but I heard Hubby honk and swerve hard. Then next thing I know the person was following us. He got out of his car and told us that we had hit him and wanted our insurance info. He refused to give us his but gave us his name phone number and drivers licence number.

So our nice little dinner turned out to be very costly. Lucky no one was hurt.

Boy vs Girl

I was watching "Sex in the City" the TV show the day before yesterday. It was one where Miranda finds out the sex of her baby. She has to pretend being excited that it is a boy. It got me thinking...why do people care about the sex of her baby.

When I was pregnant with baby girl people would ask me the sex of the baby. When I told them, they would say how exciting. When I was pregnant with baby boy, people would say oh wow I bet [hubby] is excited.

Now that second response stunned me. Why would my hubby be excited about a boy and not a girl. I don't understand that response what so ever. While hormones were surging it actually made me very angry. Do people think boys are more valuable than girls now a days?

I reality, we were a bit scared to have a boy. We had had a girl first, so that's what we knew. We were happy to have a boy, it was just uncharted territory to us.

8-1-077 rattling

I got up took the kids to school. Then I had a doctors appointment for my health issues. I had a procedure that was highly embarrassing and uncomfortable. The doctor and I decided that I now need a DNC.

I feel a bit wiped out. I am tired, my iron is really struggling to stay up.

I picked up the kids from the last day of summer session in MDO. I got a bit choked up when leaving. Baby girl was talking to me about how this was her last day. She won't have any more last days of pre-school. She gave the director a hug...and just laid her head on her. She did not let up on the hug. The director looked like she was going to cry herself.

Baby girl has been at that school since she was 13 months old. She had graduation last fall, but this was really it. I am very excited for her to start kindergarten, but I just want to hold on to her childhood.

LOL I better stop typing because I am starting to tear up, and its so silly.

Here is a pic of them having a tea party!

Once the kids got home I tried to get them to take a nap, but didn't happen. I read them their first chapter book story. We got though chapter one, but I hope to do one chapter a day. Its called Ralph S. Mouse by Beverly Cleary.

The Internet has been down for the last 24 hours. I am glad to have it back up.

I am getting more worn down as the day goes on. I am ready to have my health back in order. Please pray for me that this procedure works.

Thanks for listening to me rattling on ;)
