Tonight we had a girls night for 5 of us. It was supposed to be a small group because we were saying goodbye to our special friend. My girlfriends Michelle & Jennifer planned the night out.
The Melting Pot is a local fondue place. You can't get out of there without over eating and over spending. When we heard they were doing a fundraiser for Breast Cancer research we thought it would be a good idea to combine the goodbye dinner with a good cause.
The good/bad news was that the friend that was moving away is now not moving yet. Her house sold but then the appraiser lowered the value and the sale fell through. She was sad but happy to see her friends for longer.
We had a great dinner and fun times. We were happy to support a good cause.
Speaking of which I am collecting pink Yoplait yogurt lids. They are worth .10 cents a piece. The group I am collecting for collected almost 100 dollars last year. We are hoping to do better this year. I would love if you would send them to me or hand them to my by November 1st if you collect them.
