Donuts and dishes

As the Great Wizard said on The Wizard of Oz, "Ignore the mad behind the curtain" I say ignore the clutter on the counter.
The kids have been begging me to make donuts for them for a while. They wanted to learn how to make them. The woke me up in the excitement to get this done. (Mamma did not want to wake up but you do what ya gotta do) They had a fun time and made a big mess.
I love being able to do these kind of things for my children. It is fun to see them have new experiences in life.

After we were done with the donuts Baby Girl decided she wanted to help do the dishes. I know that one day it won't be fun but a chore. I had to document the volunteer moment.

We just got back from our trip to Cookeville and found the donut pics. What an adventure! How did the kids get interested? The results look delicious! We also enjoyed the swim photos and hope those lessons are going well!

I think one day baby girl asked if I knew how to make donuts. I said yes and she asked if I could show them.
Both kids love to cook as you know. Sometimes they like me to turn on the food network and just watch what ever is on.
