My son has a fascination with my stomach. When I asked him why he responded, " I remember living in there." I didn't believe him so I asked him what it was like in there. He said, "Well it was dark in there. Every so often I could see your blood. When you moved sometimes your bones would jab me. I could hear your heart beat. There was also a shhhhhhhhhhhhh sound. Sometimes I could hear your voice."
He has never seen or heard about what it is like in the womb. He said all of this by himself.
Then today he said, "You remember when I told you about living in your tummy?" I told him I did remember. He said, "Mommy there was something in there that was squiggly like a monster." I asked him to draw in the air what he was talking about. He drew lines in the air like my intestines. Shorter lines up top and longer lines toward the bottom.
What are your thoughts? Could it be possible for him to remember?
I started to include is sono pic. I took it down because it had my full name on the pic.

Becky, how strange! But it compare favorable with some things people have written about near-death experiences. If a person can recall what it was like to almost die, it stands to reason to me that Baby Boy can recall what it was to be waiting to be born.

Wow that is awesome !!!! My older sister has always said things about when she was alot younger. Remembering things that other people normally don't remember . And we have always kind of made a joke out of it, but who are we to say no you can't remember that. I think it is kind of neat how he was able to articulate these things. Wow, I am kind of at a loss for words....that never happen!!
