To catch you up

We went to Memphis this weekend. Its an eight hour drive from here to there. The kids did well, but as always when traveling with a two and four year old, we had our moments.

Michael worked until two AM the night before we left. I don't sleep well if he is not in the bed with me, so I was awake too. We took turns driving and sleeping on the way up there.

I did get my book club book for the month finished. It was a very strange book called, Sick Puppy. I don't recommends it to anyone.

The weekend went well. We visited with Michael's family. They kids drew lots of pictures. Courtney came home with a book of her art. Kay and Craig helped her write a couple of stories (she dictated, they wrote. One was about princess and they all were upset not to be married, but then they all married Prince Charming (lucky guy). The other was about a truck that wanted to be a person, then dressed up like a person.

We did get to get out and see a movie with Michaels friend Jeff. We saw the movie "The Illusionist" I really like the cinimetography.

We got home easily. I always feel a need to thank the Lord when we travel safe.

We had book club that night. It was fun. We only discussed the book for about fifteen minutes before talking about everything else under the Sun. The beautiful hostess for the book club made a very good dinner for us, so I ate too much.

Courtney had her first dance class on Tuesday morning. She did well, and seemed to really have a good time. Its really cute seeing the little four year old with there tap and ballet shoes on, dancing around.

I hope you all have a blessed week.

Rebecca
