Play land

I have started a theater group at the church I attend. It has been on my heart for a while. No one was starting it, so I decided that if I wanted it done, I should start. I have a co-leader now, and that is helpful. I talked to my pastor about the group. He seemed to think it was a good idea, but wanted it to be really small.

We had the first meeting and it was just the co-leader and myself. Then the second meeting we had 5. The play we picked for Christmas is so funny, we barely got thought the script reading because we were laughing so much. I think with the Advent candle lighting scripts and the prop team and sound person, we will have about twenty five people involved.

Yesterday (Sunday) we did video of some older members of the church. It was the day of the dedication of the new chapel. We asked them to talk about their memories of the old chapel, and what the new one means to them.

It is really exciting to be a part of this new adventure. We really feel we can grow the church and bond with this new ministry.

We all take our turn

I have started to recover. I feel much better, because my tooth nerves are not being aggravated. The doctor thinks it will take a few weeks for me to completely recover because I was so impacted.

Courtney came down with a high fever on Wednesday night it lasted though Thursday night. My wonderful groom took her to the doctor. They said it was just a virus that had to run it course. She was healthy by Friday morning and we were able to go out on a date Friday night.

Hunter woke up on Saturday with a 104 fever. He was running a low grade fever this morning. I stayed home from church with him. He has not run a fever so far after his last dose of Tylenol.

Pray that Michael stays well, in all this.

I also ask you all to pray for a friend of mines mother. She is in the hospital with Kidney stones. They are extremely painful.

I don't feel good

I went to the dentist yesterday because I thought maybe I had an abscessed tooth. I was having really bad shooting and aching pains in my mouth. It felt like my teeth were all going to fall out by the roots. He took ex-rays and told me I was fine, except for a major sinus infection.
I went to the doctor today and she said that not only do I have a major impacted sinus infection but a double ear infection too.
I had to take the kids with me. They were fighting over who got to sit up on the table with me.

The question of the day. Ladies, when was the last time your husband had to take the kids to the doctor with him when he was sick? I am not asking because Micheal would not take the kids, because he offered to come home if I would make the appointment for the afternoon. I was the one that did not want to wait.

I feel really bad today.

To catch you up

We went to Memphis this weekend. Its an eight hour drive from here to there. The kids did well, but as always when traveling with a two and four year old, we had our moments.

Michael worked until two AM the night before we left. I don't sleep well if he is not in the bed with me, so I was awake too. We took turns driving and sleeping on the way up there.

I did get my book club book for the month finished. It was a very strange book called, Sick Puppy. I don't recommends it to anyone.

The weekend went well. We visited with Michael's family. They kids drew lots of pictures. Courtney came home with a book of her art. Kay and Craig helped her write a couple of stories (she dictated, they wrote. One was about princess and they all were upset not to be married, but then they all married Prince Charming (lucky guy). The other was about a truck that wanted to be a person, then dressed up like a person.

We did get to get out and see a movie with Michaels friend Jeff. We saw the movie "The Illusionist" I really like the cinimetography.

We got home easily. I always feel a need to thank the Lord when we travel safe.

We had book club that night. It was fun. We only discussed the book for about fifteen minutes before talking about everything else under the Sun. The beautiful hostess for the book club made a very good dinner for us, so I ate too much.

Courtney had her first dance class on Tuesday morning. She did well, and seemed to really have a good time. Its really cute seeing the little four year old with there tap and ballet shoes on, dancing around.

I hope you all have a blessed week.
