Happy Birthday Courtney

Happy birthday my sweet princess. Five years ago today...you came into our lives...into the world. You have blossomed into a wonderful young lady. The Lord blessed our lives. He knew what he was doing when he gave you to us.

Thanks for the blessings of Courtney. Thanks for everyday we have with her. Thanks for giving us the opportunity of see her grow and blossom and nourishing her. We love being her parents.

Hair dare

I colored my hair last week. I was told I was going grey one too many times. I went with darkest of browns. It came out black. My ends were brittle. I could not figure out why. I went to wash my hair a couple days later, and guess what. I had not washed the dye out of my hair!!!!!! Where is my mind.

I realized that the drain clogged in the shower just as I was washing the dye out, so I went to plunge it and...got distracted. Then I put in the cream rinse but never finished washing the dye out. (rolls eyes at self)

moral of the story: If you don't laugh at yourself then...everyone will laugh at you...because the story is too funny not to tell.

Doctors Without Borders

I want to raise money for Doctors Without Borders (Medisans san Frontiere) for an auction that is being held at a concert. This auction is for a back stage pass with all money raised going to the charity. I care more about the charity than the passes, but I can't donate others money and get the tax formes for them. Any ideas of what to sell or how to raise about 5 grand? I am doing ebay. I need it raised by november.
